Sticker Contest

The Entomological Society of Ontario is announcing its first sticker contest this spring! We want to highlight the bug enthusiasts and artists of Ontario with the opportunity to design ESO’s ongoing sticker collection.

​The winning sticker design will be sold at the Annual General Meeting in October. Artwork must be submitted via the contest form and is due by 11:59 pm on May 20, 2026. The winner will be selected through a voting process. The contest is open to all ESO members, and we’re excited to see what you all create!  

Copyright for the artwork will remain with the artist, but permission must be granted for use in ESO promotional material.

Contest Details and Rules

The winning artwork will be a part of a limited edition run of merch t-shirts, which will be sold during the silent auction at the AGM. The winner will be contacted by email. 
 
  1. Submissions must be made by current members of the Entomological Society of Ontario.
  2. Submissions must include at least one species of insect native to Ontario
  3. Submissions must fit within a 3” x 3” square to ensure details are not lost in printing.
  4. Submissions must be submitted as a .jpeg and .png to the Google Form
  5. Artists should include an identifying mark (signature, tag, etc.) in the design.
  6. Filename should be LastName_FirstName.type (.jpeg or .png)
  7. Artwork must be created without the aid of artificial intelligence.

Contest Timeline

Submissions Form Opens: March 18, 2026
Submission Form Closes: May 20, 2026
Voting Opens: June 1, 2026
Voting Ends: July 31, 2026
