Ont. 144: 15–26 Abstract Publications on taxonomy and faunistics that appeared in the Journal of the Entomological Society of Ontario over a 60-year period beginning in 1952 are tabulated. These consist of 60 papers on taxonomy with a total of 700 species, including 125 new ones, described and/or keyed. Almost 100 papers on faunistics (lists, new distributions for North America or parts of North America) were published, with a total of 4700 species mentioned. A brief overview of taxonomy and faunistics as given in JESO volumes is provided. |
